Stiles Stilinski/Theo Raeken is the non-canonical relationship between Stiles Stilinski and Theo Raeken. The ship is most commonly called Steo.
Canon
Before, Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall, and Theo Raeken were considered to be best friends during the period of their fourth grade year. And in season 5A, Theo returned to Beacon Hills, reuniting with his past friends.
Fandom
Steo is the second most popular ship amongst the Theo Raeken tag on AO3. While Sterek is the number one Stiles ship, Stiles and Theo have a considerably large amount of fics.
Common Tropes & Fanon
- Relationship with Derek: Derek Hale is included in many of the fanworks as a past relationship, or as the main one.
- Toxic relationships: These are very common among the fanworks of Steo. Most will include Whump, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat, and abuse. Theo/Stiles is considered to be a darker pairing, and has many ties to the Nogitsune, and/or Dread Doctors.
