Spider-Verse is a Spiderman animated film franchise, based on The Amazing Spider-Man comic storyline of the same name. The franchise is comprised of the films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and its sequel Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The films follow the character Miles Morales and his adventures with other Spider-People from alternate universes.

Miles Morales, an African African / Puerto Rican teenager living in New York is bitten by an experimental spider and receives spider-powers. After witnessing the death of his universe's Spider-Man, he tries to be the new Spider-Man, but an interdimensional rift, the Kingpin and Doc Ock make things complicated. Luckily, he has other Spider-people to help train him.
Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Gwen (Earth 65) becomes part of the Spider-Society and tracks The Spot back to Miles Morales' universe. Miles discovers he is an anomaly in the multiverse and uses this to try and save his father.
Beyond the Spider-Verse

- Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 (Earth-928): A "ninja vampire" Spider-Man of Irish and Mexican descent whose universe is set in the year 2099 and who is leader of the Spider-Society, a group of Spider-People from alternate universes tasked with protecting the multiverse. The only Spider-Man without a sense of humour[1].
- Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk (Earth-138): A Black British, punk rock version of Spider-Man who uses his guitar as his main weapon.
- Jess Drew / Spider-Woman (Earth-404): A pregnant African-American Spider-Woman who is O'Hara's right-hand and rides a motorcycle; she does not maintain a secret identity.
- Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India: (Earth-50101) An Indian version of Spider-Man, who lives in Mumbattan (a portmanteau of Mumbai and Manhattan).

- Family dynamics: either between Miles and his parents (particularly in the form of an identity reveal) and/or exploring the mentor/father-son relationship between Miles and Peter B. Parker
- Other universes: fanworks frequently feature the six "spider-people" finding ways to communicate with and visit each other in their respective dimensions (sometimes resulting in chatfic) and then going on to discover other dimensions with other Spider-people.This has expanded even further with the second movie's exploration of the multiverse
- Fix-it/denialfic: fix-its are common for the two main deaths in the film: the Peter Parker from Miles' universe, and Aaron Davis.
Crossover fanworks with other Spider-Man movieverses, including Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Amazing Spider-Man universe, are also popular - especially as the film universe has established the existence of parallel dimensions, giving an in-universe reason to incorporate these characters.
