The Slash Advent Calendar was a multi-fandom slash challenge/calendar run every December from 2002 to 2005. Founded by kira-nerys at Lady Kardasi Productions, it included works from fandoms such as Star Trek, Harry Potter, The Sentinel and Buffy. In 2004, the challenge inspired the FemSlash Advent Calendar which is archived here. In 2006, with a new moderator, the Slash Advent Calendar became a purely Star Trek affair, the first in a series of Kirk/Spock Advent Calendars which then ran continuously until 2017, r was subsequently relaunched in 2022.

"Years ago, Kira set up a Slash Advent Calendar that she is passing along to someone else because it has become so successful and popular that it can no longer be handled by one person. In those early years, K/S played a big role in the calendar's offerings. We hope to recreate that with this new project, which was the idea of Kira herself."

No records have been found to date of anyone continuing the Slash Advent Calendar after 2005.

Starting in 2003, large portions of the Slash Advent Calendar hosting website were placed under password protection. As a result later years have not been archived.
