Plot

Spoiler Warning: This article or section may contain spoilers. If this bothers you, proceed with caution.

Prologue: Nathalie discovers she is pregnant, which was far from her plans. Much to her surprise, Gabriel was far more positive about the news than she had expected, and Adrien was also very excited. Emilie, an angel watching from above, vows to watch over all of them, especially the new baby Nathalie is blessed with.

Main Story: Nathalie gives birth to a healthy baby girl, named Adeline. Gabriel, Nathalie and Adrien are all enamored with the blessing and bundle of joy. However, they began to notice things out of the ordinary happening. Through Adeline's infancy, random instances of ethereal white, shimmering feathers, strange sounds, and their baby acting weirdly at the most inopportune times to name a few. Gabriel swears he's losing his mind, Adrien is worried and paranoid, and Nathalie begins to question her stance on the paranormal, all while Adeline forms a bond with Emilie Agreste, and learns about her life, and about the magic of the miraculous. Adeline starts seeing psychologist Doctor Marie-Laure Landeau as a toddler, who after two visits, seems to believe that Adeline has strong ties to the paranormal. When Adeline turns 2, Emilie introduces her to some new angels- a family, Alaire, Elaine, and their daughter, Catherine. Adeline has one goal- to try and find a way to bring those who had fallen too soon- hoping the magic of the miraculous can help her, though obtaining the correct miraculous for her idea poses more challenges than she expected.

Information on Adeline

Adeline Agreste (full name: Adeline Aurora Elaine Sancoeur Agreste), is the main protagonist. She is the daughter of Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sancoeur (Nathalie Agreste as of Chapter 5), and younger half-sister of Adrien Agreste, and future big sister to a new baby, nickname "Baby Macaron". She is characterized as having dark brown hair, a fair complexion and light blue-grey eyes, strongly taking after her mother.

Personality

Adeline is depicted as being a fairly happy child, who is warm and openly affectionate to those she loves, and even those she hardly knows. She is particularly attached to Gabriel, though the people she loves most are Adrien, Emilie, Nathalie, Gabriel and Marinette. She has a mild temperament, and hardly throws fits or cries. As she gets older, she is shown to be more curious around her world around her. However, sometimes she is too bold and ambitious for her own good, and taking on more than she can reasonably handle. This can lead her to putting herself in danger. She is also stubborn, as even after she fails, she won't give up, even if her ideas are too big for someone her size and age.
