jans_intentions, also known as sexymermaid, is a fanwriter.
In Buffyverse fandom, Jan wrote in multiple pairings and was known for writing smutty slash fanfic. Jan's fanworks became very popular, and some fans recall wank as some older Spander fans found her works squicky.[1] Jan was also well known in Queer as Folk fandom, where she is remembered as a prolific writer.[2]
Jan removed all her fanfiction from online platforms, and her own social media sometime in 2009. Jan reported that this was a result of a publishing contract she had signed and requested that fans not share copies of her work, as this would violate her contract. At a later date (?), Jan also had to delete her writing blogs to comply with her publishing contract.[3]
Jan's professional career inspired discussion in fandom about writers filing off the serial numbers.[4] Some fans recall that most of Jan's fanfiction had been reworked into original fiction, with character names changed and very little difference in plot.[4][5]

She eventually takes him to her ancient kingdom where he sees her true form and becomes the beloved pet of a powerful king. Very erotic and very tender romance with some angst. Unusual sex acts in this story.
