Seven Card Stud is a series of slash Magnificent 7 anthologies. All of the fiction is by Cinda Gillilan using a variety of pseuds.

Issue 1

Seven Card Stud 1 has 110 pages. A mixed-pairing slash zine. Stories in this issue are set in the Old West and ATF Denver universes.

  • Opposites Attract by Grace Fortado, Old West (Ezra/Vin). An assignment throws the two peacekeepers together, allowing them to discover a mutual attraction. (14)
  • The Texan (by Zerelda) Old West (Vin/Jed "Kid" Curry), a crossover with Alias Smith & Jones. Bounty hunter Vin Tanner recognizes the Kid and takes him prisoner, but he has a change of heart after they spend an interesting night together. (9) Originally published in Devil's Hole #5.
  • The Texan and The Gunslinger (by Zerelda) Old West (Chris/Vin). The two friends discover that their feelings run deeper than they thought. (8)
  • Out of the Ashes (by Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin). In the aftermath of Ella Gains' madness, Chris finds himself haunted by the truth: a mad woman killed his wife and son. And between the fever and the memories, he is in need of some TLC. Good thing Vin is there to give it to him. (25) Originally published in One in Ten #7.
  • Return to the Ashes (by Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), a sequel to "Out of the Ashes." Having seen Chris and Vin making love, Ella returns to exact her revenge on the bounty hunter. Now Vin is missing and Chris is hunting for him. When Chris eventually finds the tracker, Vin is at Ella's mercy. (27)
  • Pounce (by Pat) Old West (Chris/Vin). Chris and Vin are building a life together, but their most recent addition turns out to be dangerous. (4)
  • The Closet (by Kaed) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). When Vin is trapped in a small closet, Chris has to talk him back from his worst nightmare, and then provide a little TLC. (7)
  • Healing Touch (by Morgan MacCarin) Old West (Nathan/Vin). Nathan is hurting, but Vin is there to care for him, and one thing leads to another. (10)

Issue 2

Seven Card Stud 2 has 99 pages.

  • In a New Light (by Kacey Tucker) Old West (Ezra/Vin). Ezra's been acting strange and Vin is ready to kill the man, until he hears what the problem is, then he makes other plans. (10)
  • Seaside Love (by Nina Talbot) Old West (Ezra/Vin). Waiting for the others gives Ezra and Vin some time alone. (10)
  • Turnabout (by Mary Fallon) Old West (Chris/Vin). After nearly seeing Vin get himself killed, Chris decides it's time to share a secret. (10)
  • Holiday Surprise' (by Grace Fortado) Old West (Chris/Vin). After Vin is almost killed the man's acting a little jumpy, but not for the reasons Chris thinks. (9)
  • Encore (by Grace Fortado) Old West (Chris/Vin), a sequel to "Holiday Surprise." The boys get a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. (3)
  • A Night in Joy (by Pat) Old West (Chris/Vin). The boys spend a night in a small town that lives up to its name. (6)
  • An Issue of Trust (by Sierra Chaves) Old West (Chris/Vin). Vin has some words for Chris when Larabee puts his own life on the line for the tracker. (5)
  • Free Styler (by Birgitt Schuknecht) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). An ad has Chris howling. (2)
  • Ashes to Ashes (by Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), sequel to "Return to the Ashes" (Stud #1). Ella is back for one last try at winning Chris's love, but this time she pays the ultimate price. (25)
  • Housewarming (by Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), sequel to "Ashes to Ashes." The house the two have been working on is finally finished and it stirs old memories for both men. (6)

  • Revolution (by Cheyenne Winnie) Old West (Buck/Vin, Chris/Vin), sequel to "Revelations" (Stud #4). Buck and Vin continue their relationship, but the ladies' man suspects Chris knows and isn't happy about it. (10)
  • Changing of the Guard (by Sierra Pruitt) Old West (Ezra/Vin, Chris/Vin), sequel to "Mutual Satisfaction" (Stud #4). Ezra realizes that Chris's interest in Vin has changed, but how to break that to the tracker? (18)
  • Whom My Soul Loveth (Aspen Glennbearn) Old West (Josiah/Vin), sequel to "To Love One Another" (Stud #4). The preacher doesn't want to lose his relationship with Vin, but when Chris catches them together both men have some soulsearching to do. (12)
  • To Comfort's Bed (by Fallon Zane) Old West & ATF Denver (Chris/Vin), sequel to "Unrequited, Too" (Stud #4). Vin dreams he's finally going to get what he wants, but the dreams are really Chris's, and he's not at all sure what to do about them. (19)
  • A Marvelous Little Toy (by Pat) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). It's Christmas and Chris has one last gift to give Vin, but finding the right time and place is proving hard. (8)
  • Loving in Another Man's Soul (by Patricia Grace & Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), slash version of "Walking in Another Man's Soul" in Let's Ride #2. When Chris is injured, Vin is willing to try anything to save his life, but he never suspects that by doing so, he'll reveal a secret long buried. (41)

  • Bloody Ghost, Part 1 (by Pat) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). Vin gets caught in a shootout in Purgatory, and Chris fears that he is dead. (13)
  • Downpour of Love (by Fallon Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin). A wounded Vin gets caught out in a rainstorm that leaves him needing Chris's tender mercies. (15)
  • Mustang (by Dana Ely) Old West (Chris/Vin). A hot summer afternoon turns into some fun for the boys when Vin leads Chris to a secret swimming hole. (7)
  • The Ties That Bind (by Lexi Jordan & Paige Aaron) Old West (Chris/Vin). Chris has to convince Vin that the relationship he wants is for the best, but the tracker isn't easily convinced. (17)
  • Measure of Love (by Patricia Grace & Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), slash version of "The Measure of a Man." Vin finds himself caught between renegade Apaches and the US Army. Toss in a conniving scout and a vengeful widow and his life isn't worth a plug nickel. But he can't give up, he has too much to live for, and his name is Chris Larabee. (46)

  • A Wanted Love (by Michelle Fortado & Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin), slash version of "A Wanted Man." When Chris and Vin run afoul of a bounty hunter, Chris finds himself facing the possible loss of his friend, a friend he realizes he cares more about than he thought. (37)
  • Bloody Ghosts, Part 3 (by Pat) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin), sequel to "Bloody Ghosts, Part 2" (Stud #8). The tension between the team and Chris and Vin comes to a head when Vin is attacked at the gym. (16)
  • A Split Second to Love (by Erica Michaels & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin), slash version of "Split Second." The team go in to rescue women and children being held by men who believe the world will end on the millennium. In the process Vin has to make a terrible choice. (25)
  • So Close to the Light (by Grace Fortado) ATF Denver: Karaoke AU (Chris/Vin). When Inez comes up with a karaoke night competition, Team Seven is more than happy to help, but Vin's songs reveal more than he ever thought possible. (51) (winner of a 2006 FanQ)

  • Thanksgiving (by Pat) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). As Thanksgiving approaches Vin feels the need to give back a little, but his good intentions put Chris' life at risk. (18)
  • Storm in the Loving Soul (by Patricia Grace & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin), the slash version of "Storm in the Soul" (Let's Ride #5). While on a short vacation, Vin runs into a man from his past, and ends up fighting for his life. (56)
  • Bloody Ghosts, Part 4 (by Pat) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin), sequel to "Bloody Ghosts, Part 3" (Seven Card Stud #9). The team makes their apology to Chris and Vin. (15)

Seven Card Stud 11 was published in 2007 and has 103 pages. Stories in this issue are all set in the OW or ATF Denver alternate universe.

  • Lapse of Love (by Erica Michaels & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). Team Seven is going after some very bad guys, but they're smarter than expected, leaving Vin and Ezra in a bad place. Hurt and isolated from their friends, the two men face certain death if the rest of Team Seven cannot rescue them in time. (47)
  • A Rare Gift' (by Sierra Chaves & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). After some heated words, Chris and Vin are on the outs, but the rest of the team have a plan. Too bad it didn't include Vin running into a knife-wielding abuser. (38) (winner of a 2007 FanQ)
  • Dream Come True (byDori Adams) Old West (Josiah/Vin). Josiah has his dreams come true, with a little help from a shaman and a willing tracker. (The first in a series of three stories that will culminate in a Chris/Vin-Josiah/Vin AU.) (8)

Seven Card Stud 12 was published in 2007. Stories in this issue are all set in the OW or ATF Denver alternate universe. 117 pages.

  • Black Love (by Michelle Fortado & Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin). Chris is mistaken for a hired assassin, who he killed earlier, but now he has to treat Vin as his prisoner, or risk his life. (24)
  • Adios, Love (by Mary Fallon Zane & Lorin Zane) Old West (Chris/Vin). Chris and the others think that Vin is dead, but he's not. However, the scare is enough to get Chris to talk about his feelings. (19)
  • Little Gold Ring (by Dori Adams) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). Chris notices something new about Vin and it's driving him crazy. (4)
  • Desperation of Love (by Patricia Grace, Erica Michaels & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). When Chris is fatally wounded, Vin risks everything in a last ditch effort to save the man he loves. (34)
  • Love Served Cold (by Erica Michaels & Lorin Zane) ATF Denver (Chris/Vin). A case of revenge puts Team Seven in danger and could cost Chris his life, at Vin's hand. (30)
