Satine Kryze is a Star Wars character who appears in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She was the pacifistic leader of Mandalore for much of the Clone Wars, and most specifically the New Mandalorian faction.
Canon
Satine Kryze is a New Mandalorian pacifist leader, strongly opposing violence and all aspects of the Mandalorian culture associated with warfare, and speaking strongly in favour of neutrality and non-violence. In her youth, after her father's death and the Republic decides to back the New Mandalorians in their goals, Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn are sent to protect her. Insurgents, mercenaries, and bounty hunters pursue them for a year, until the New Mandalorians gain control and the Jedi leave.
Satine's New Mandalorian faction holds onto political power in the Mandalore sector up into the Clone Wars, encouraging economic prosperity. However, the restrictions on his alienates her sister Bo-Katan Kryze. However, traditionalist Death Watch challenges the peace, and Separatist and Republic forces challenge their neutrality, eventually culminating in her deposal by Pre Viszla, Darth Maul, and Savage Oppress.
