Pookie Bear is a term of endearment originating from TikTok. Although the term was not coined by media fandom, Fannish circles on TikTok and other platforms may use this term to describe their favorite characters lovingly. This term is far more commonly used for Male characters than Female ones.
Variants are Pookie, without the bear part, and Pookie Wookie Bear. To make fun of the word, fans may add increasingly sickingly-sweet additions to the phrase, most of it some variety of baby talk. One example is Pookie Wookie Zookie Boo Boo Bear Meow Meow Woof Woof Bark, describing Shuichi Saihara from Danganronpa V3 by a fan in a video celebrating his birthday.
