Pat Charles was a prolific fan writer. She passed away December 30, 1992. The zine It's Love, Cap'n was dedicated to her memory.
A fan remembers her and writes: "She had been a keen SH fan for many years, steadfast in her commitment to our fandom as she was constant and generous in her friendship. She always had time for you. Long-distance travel was beyond her competence but she was always an enthusiastic supporter of our UK Fandays and of the Zircons. She had a lively mind and a lively sense of humour, a wise sense of perspectives and priorities... Like all of us who knew her, I'm going to miss her very much." [1]
