- Dead Sheev Palpatine - Killing Sidious early is especially popular in the Prequels and Clone Wars fandoms. This is sometimes the culmination of a fix-it fic where his treachery is discovered and thwarted. It is also common for some fans to kill him off in ridiculous or embarrassing ways off screen such as slipping in the shower or being crushed by an elevator.
