Steven Stone/Wallace, known mostly as OriginShipping, ミクダイ (Mikudai) and/or ダイミク (Daimiku), is a popular ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Steven Stone (Daigo Tsuwabuki) and Wallace (Mikuri), the Pokémon Champion of the Hoenn region, later a position held by Wallace in the sequel game Pokémon Emerald, and the Water-type Gym Leader from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald respectively.

-Shipping Name Origin

"OriginShipping" was coined sometime before 17 May 2004[1] by Luna Tiger on Bulbagarden.[2] It's likely a play on how both of them wait outside of the Cave of Origin in Ruby and Sapphire while the player, either as Brendan or May, quells Groundon or Kyogre, depending on the game.

The pairing used to also have a page on Bulbapedia, which can be seen here (in archived form), Archived version.

2015 #originshipping Tag Policing

Starting in late 2014, sootopolitanwallace, a long-time fan of the ship, began tag policing the #originshipping tag on Tumblr as well as posts relating to Wallace in general. She reblogged and commented on posts she thought were discriminatory, against the rules, or didn't pertain to the ship.[Notes 1] This made her infamous to many other shippers, and many considered her a harasser who only made it harder for people to post about OriginShipping.[3][4] She was often vague posted, both as warnings to new OriginShippers or with posts parodying her style of commentary.[5] She also co-ran originshipping, Archived version , a general fan blog for them, with pearlahiko, someone else also accursed of being a well-known harasser.[6] Both mods used the blog in arguments with other OriginShippers over the tag policing.[7]

Multiple callout posts were made for her on 18 February 2015[6][8]. Later that day, she made a blog post defending herself, though it did not spread far[9]. Cherryguevara's callout post and sootopolitanwallace were also discussed on Fail-Fandomanon soon afterwards.[10] She later abandoned both blogs in around spring 2015.
