Only Light is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Amy Fortuna. On the author's page it was described as a novelette.[2] The story was linked at Jedi Discipline in the "Fan Fiction Links" section of the page.

I started this a very long time ago. Then it was a sweet happy little thing with a wonderful resolution. Then I discovered that it wouldn't work that way, that people don't work that way, and I dropped it. Several days ago, however, Augusta Pembrooke posted a "darkfic" to chanslash, called Worth It, which resembled this story as I'd conceived it Darkly. Needless to say, she inspired me and I set back to work on it. And now that I'm finished, I have to frankly say I'm amazed at myself; I've written this in a week and a half. And I think it's a really good story that raises some interesting questions. Ha! Thoguht I had an alphabetical order going there, didn't you? Nope all chaos and no light here, unlike (and how's that for a seg-way?) Amy Fortuna's fiction, see, it's a pun because she's known for her novella Only Light. But stupid jokes from me aside, there is nothing funny about Qui-Gon's disgusting habit exposed in Better Not To Know a truly incendent hobby for a Jedi Master. Oh and this girl has attitude, check out how she tortures Anakin in SW II: Let's Humiliate Anakin! a very fine name for a play indeed *leer*.[3]
[rushlight]Only Light - A Q/O Novelette by Amy Fortuna This is one of the few stories that has actually managed to make me cry. Beautifully written and full of delicious angst, this AU focuses on the absolute power of true love.[4]
