Olivier Mira Armstrong is a character in the manga and anime series Fullmetal Alchemist.

Canon

Olivier Armstrong is never mentioned in the 2003 anime.

In Brotherhood and the manga, she commands Briggs Fortress, at the northern border. She scorns the Elric brothers when they arrive at Briggs, but they earn her respect by helping the fortress fight the homunculus Sloth, and Armstrong ends up joining the coalition against the homunculi on Promised Day. Despite that alliance, she also disdains Roy Mustang and is his rival to seize power during the coup.

She is the eldest daughter of the illustrious Armstrong family, and though she seems to hold her younger brother Alex Louis Armstrong in as low esteem as Roy she still seems to respect and uphold her family legacy.

Fandom

Fans love Olivier's hardass persona, loyalty to her men, and disdain for Roy Mustang. She is commonly headcanoned as a lesbian.
