Nimona is often headcanoned as trans,[1] due to frequent statements to the effect of "I'm not a girl, I'm an X". This has been compared to similar statements from Janet from The Good Place, Crowley from Good Omens, and Nyota Uhura from Star Trek: The Original Series.[2]
