mfshipbracket is a bracket tournament between M/F ships using the Tumblr poll function. The bracket is moderated by spacetravels and ghost mod. The moderator used the term "M/F" instead of het to indicate that "not all m/f pairs are cis/het."
Round One
Round One had 32 polls.[1] A standout result from the first round was the poll pairing Shrek/Fiona against the Star Wars ship Reylo. Shrek/Fiona won with 97.1% of the vote and the poll itself garnered over 60 thousand notes.[2] The dramatic win became the subject of memes and tumblr users called it the shreksweep.[3]
Round Two

Round Four
Round four had four competitions between eight ships.[4] The four winning ships were Morticia/Gomez from The Addams Family, Mulder/Scully from The X-Files, Shrek/Fiona from Shrek, and Sans/Toriel from Undertale.
Round Five
In Round Five, there were two polls. One was Morticia/Gomez vs Mulder/Scully; Morticia/Gomez was the winning ship.[5] The second poll was Shrek/Fiona vs Sans/Toriel; Shrek/Fiona was the winner.[6]
Final Round
The final round is Shrek/Fiona against Morticia/Gomez. Voting started on April 27.[7]
Bonus Round
As a joke, a second set of polls were held once more, this time pitting every ship against exclusively Reylo. These were held in May. All of the ships involved beat Reylo by wide margins, with the sole exception being the match against King Charles/Camilla, where Reylo won by 87.9%.[8] Also notable is the Bella/Edward match, which beat Reylo by 80.9%,[9] and the surprise characters of Adam/Eve, who won by 89.7%.[10] One anon ask credits the popularity of the bonus round with elevating Reylo to the number 10 ship on fandometrics.[11][12] The bonus round was intended as humorous, not anti-shipping and the mod agreed to tag the posts as "anti-reylo" so fans of the ship wouldn't receive an influx of negative content in the tumblr tag.
