Creator's note

Remember to watch in HD for best quality.

I was debating between this or an other amv to be my entry for Japan Expo, but I decided on the other video for Japan Expo which I'll release after it premieres there in a few months. I finished this one up earlier than I thought to be able to send it into Anime Expo and other summer conventions coming up.

If you haven't watched it yet either, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is an awesome show and I've been recommending it to everyone.

"I heard your heart beating. you were in the darkness too, so I stayed in the darkness with you." That line brought a tear to my eye.

This AMV was the entire reason I watched Madoka (without regret). Die hard Sailor Moon fan but I will say this is one of the single greatest AMVs ever. Keep at it, please.

I think you should know, that even though it's been 5 years, this is still one of my all time favorite AMV's. I first saw it at AX and looked it up as soon as we were home. Every time I hear the song I think about this AMV. The timing and the scenes you use... everything here is PERFECT.

solo una palabra: PERFECTO!!!!!!!!

Om my gosh! You don't know how long i have been searching for this video. I have never seen this anime and i didn't know the name of it so I didn't know what to search it under. It made me cry at Animefest. I remember the exact words the man who presented it said. "This video made us thin that this song had no other purpose in it's creation rather than to make this AMV." I watched it again and it made me cry again. Thank you for putting this on here. I mean it.

It's gotten to the point where if a friend walks by when I'm watching this AMV, I pause it and minimize it, because I'm afraid they'll say "Are you watching that AMV again?"

Every Madoka Magica fanart I've done over the past five years has been because this AMV, both the song and how utterly good it is, inspired me to do so. I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart, whenever I hear this song I get ideas for art and it's all thanks to you haha.

Am I the only one who noticed that this video was released May 4th, only 13 days after the last episode of the series came out? That's remarkably fast turnover into making an AMV like this. Doesn't it usually take a hell of a lot longer then that?

That part at 1:27 where the strikes of Kyouko's spear match up perfectly with the beats of the song just gives me chills every time. Like the whole bloody thing is amazing but that bit there is the reason I keep coming back to this video.

I still think about this AMV every time I hear this song... I've seen Florence live in concert multiple times and thought, in the thrill of the moment during Cosmic Love, "ah yes, that really good Madoka AMV"
