The singups for Magi Big Bang 2019 started on January 27th, 2019. The minimum word count requirement was 10,000 words. It was to be hosted by SetsuntaMew and Dragonofeternal. However, it was cancelled during the artist claiming phase. The reasons given were a combination of no-shows, dropping interest in the fandom, as well as the organizers' IRL issues. The participants were encouraged to post their works into an open, unmoderated AO3 collection if they so wished.
