I don’t read a lot in The 100 fandom, but I stumbled onto this story and loved it. This fic is a canon divergent AU, where two separate groups came down from the Ark, so that, in an effort to build bridges, Clarke (from the Ark group) ends up in an arranged marriage with Bellamy (from the Ship group), who she has never met. It’s such a slow, thoughtful building of a relationship between two strangers, which gradually develops over time, and is all the more romantic because of the care the author takes. The world building around the AU scenario (and the people and politics surrounding Clarke and Bellamy) is fantastic and immersive as well. This story is a long, captivating read, the type of story that absolutely sells you on the ship at its center.[1]
Canon divergence, where canon diverged way back when. I’m sure most people have read pretty much everything by monroeslittle, and would agree that this fic is incredible. You get to see the progression of Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship, which began with an arranged marriage, and a really cool look into some politics on the ground.[2]

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FIC. Honestly, this is probably my favorite Bellarke fanfic. I’ve read this through a total of around 5 times, I think. The way that Bellarke falls in love is just spectacularly iconic. Its beautiful and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. There is angst, of course, but not from love triangles or miscommunications. Everything that happens is completely realistic and doesn’t just happen for the drama of it all. Monroeslittle builds such a beautiful world at the Ship and understands the characters that she wrote perfectly. While this is a Bellarke fic, this features other relationships such as Raven/Clarke, Wells/Clarke, Octavia/Clarke, and Miller/Clarke. Definitely a must read.[5]
I’m kinda new to the Bellarke fandom, but I’ve already read so much fic that I can definitely recommend this one. In my opinion this is the best fic of the bellarke fandom yet. AU. Clarke winds up in an arranged marriage with Bellamy. This is everything I have ever wanted to read without knowing it. I love the length (55000 words wtf yaas) but most of all this fic is so beautifully written imo this is one of the best that I’ve ever read.[6]
