The Les Mis Across History historical AU fest took place in May 2013, and was proposed as a way to have alternative fanworks to the ubiquitous modern AU. Much of the work produced was focused on maintaining historical accuracy, as the fandom comes from a historical period itself. The majority of the fics focused on Les Amis de l'ABC and revolutions or civil disobedience, in recognition of the themes of the Brick.
