Lana/Mallow, known mostly as BittersweetShipping, AquariumPlantShipping,マオスイ (Maosui) and/or スイマオ (Suimao), is a common ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Lana (Suiren) and Mallow (Mao), the Water-type specialist Trial Captain and the Grass-type specialist Trial Captain from Pokémon Sun and Moon respectively.

Lana and Mallow are also two of Ash Ketchum's classmates in the Pokémon anime.

-Shipping Name Origin

The first known name coined for the pairing was "AquariumPlantShipping," coined sometime between the beginning of November and 31 December 2016[Notes 1] for the Neverending Romance ship name list. This is its second-most common -shipping name, with the first, "BittersweetShipping," being coined later on by kozlliot sometime after the premier of Tasting the Bitter with the Sweet! on 28 January 2018.[1]

This later name is not considered their 'official' name, however, as it conflicts with the pairing name for Clair/Whitney, a very pairing with little-to-no fan activity.
