Keita Mori/Thaniel Steepleton is the main, canon pairing in the small but devoted The Watchmaker of Filigree Street fandom.
In Canon
Mori engineers a meeting by making a watch for Thaniel, which saves him from a bombing.
Thaniel eventually moves into Mori's watchmaker workshop and the two grow closer, although Thaniel's wedding to Grace Carrow creates a rift between them for a time.
Eventually, Thaniel chooses Mori over Grace, and the two enter a relationship, forming a family with Mori's child assistant, Six.
