Kasumi is the protagonist in the video game BanG Dream!, as well as the anime of the same name.

Canon

PoPiPa’s vocalist operates at a fairly unique wavelength, often understood by few. While subtle, her manic energy is actually a cover for a fairly serious case of depression, and she tries not to let it show. But despite it all, Kasumi’s determination shows that she has the Star Beat, and the drive to go far.

Fandom

Being the protagonist of BanG Dream, Kasumi is understandably shipped a lot. Pairings with other PoPiPa members are all fairly constant, while Yukina Minato has an unexpected soft spot for her (likely due to her cat ears), Kokoro Tsurumaki is one of very few on the same mental wavelength as her, and childhood friend Hagumi Kitazawa is shipped with her fairly often too. Other girls that go to the same school as her, such as Eve Wakamiya, Rinko Shirokane and Rokku all exist as possible rarepairs, however little sister Asuka’s conflicting personality generally detracts from shipping in this case.
