"Spock records a “normal” day in his personal log, ending with him and Kirk in bed sleeping, content in their bond after a trying day."

Reactions and Reviews

A lovely little vignette about Spock's thoughis and feelings about being bonded with Kirk. Written in the form of a personal log, Spock tells of having dinner, talking to McCoy, then going to bed after which Kirk slips into bed with him.

They had been dealing with an anthropological science team and their perspective on each other comes from working with those people,. Some very nice thoughts like: "I've seen his eyes darken with passion as he lies beneath me, receiving my strokes of love. And I've seen them sparkle with flecks of gold as he looks at me across a crowded room or from his command seat on the bridge, letting me know how much he loves and wants me, and is looking forward to showing it when we are alone together."

I liked the idea that they were both too tired to make love, but still showed love as they held each other and went to sleep.

This appears to be a companion piece to The Bonding which is a nice touch in a zine and by the way,a neat interesting title.
