Descriptions

1993

Vol-1: This set of music videos is more episodic. That is that a video is done for one or two episodes. This set has some of our early work on it. The tape is in HiFi-Stereo on VHS format. The total run time is about an hour.

Vol-2: This set of music videos is more global in its usage of episodes and includes the H.A.T. videos show at Tunnelconn-II and Great Expectations. For those who saw "My Boyfriends Back' at South Of Oz, we have recreated it to the best of our ability. We do not know who to credit for the genious [sic] of this video, but we felt it should be shared and enjoyed by all.

We will send these videos free with a donation of the amounts shown below:

From the archived CABB website:

Helpers Above Tulsa continue to produce amazing video collections for B&B fans. Their work is of extremely high quality and their ever-increasing inventory provides something for everyone. Within this genre, Julie and Phil Smith are two of the most gifted artists ever, and B&B fandom is truly fortunate to have access to their work. A basic listing of their videos is included below, but for more details, it would be best if you send a SASE to Philip C. Smith, c/o Helpers Above Tulsa, [address removed].

There are now three volumes of music videos available. Volume I is a set of songs based on various episodes and is about an hour in length.

Volume II combines various episodes for a more 'global' flavor within each song; this collection also includes "My Boyfriend's Back".

The latest -- Volume III -- includes various episode combinations, the promo video for the con "A Kingdom by the Sea", and two X-Files music videos.

Prices are as follows: Music Videos Volume I -- $14., Volumes II and III -- $20. each. Postage varies depending on number of videos ordered and location to which they must be sent.

If you're uncertain about ordering a complete collection and would like to first try a sample of Julie and Phil's work, inquire about a tape they premiered at the LA con in 1995. It has two videos on it -- Amy Grant's "That's What Love Is For" (a deeply moving, uplifting portrayal of Vincent and Catherine's life together) and "Queen of the Night" (a fabulous salute to Catherine through the eyes of the men in her life). This one is a masterpiece!

Aside from the exceptionally high quality and artistry of the videos HAT produces, we at CABB also are very appreciative of their sensitivity in citing (on flyers and labeling info on the cassette themselves) the episodes from which scenes are taken for the music videos. The vast majority are Classic in content, but at times excerpts from third season have been included. However, CABB has no reservations in endorsing HAT's videos because through the specific info they provide, scenes one might wish to exclude can be easily ignored. Please don't let this info sway you from viewing these wonderful videos. You'd be missing something beautiful and memorable if you do! [2]
