Help talk:Glossary
Should EWE be an example here when it contradicts the policy to archive under the full name, Epilogue? What Epilogue? and unlike for PWP with Plot What Plot vs Porn Without Plot and RPF with Real People/Person Fiction etc. there aren't actually competing expansions of the same acronym. I think those examples should be added to maybe clarify why a glossary entry is the acronym. Also I think EWE ought to be moved.--RatCreature 21:35, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- Good point. I changed it.--æthel 04:23, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Glossary template?
Wikipedia has a glossary template (Template:Glossary and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Glossaries) and I think it would be useful? I especially like that it makes the glossary terms into anchors, which would be very useful to link to, and is better for screen reader accessibility than bulleted lists.
Either way, it looks like fandom glossaries are all using this format right now:
- Term: Definition.
Even if we don't adopt the template, for easy of reading maybe we should switch them to this format:
- Term
- Definition
I'd be willing to go through and switch them all over. - Hoopla (talk) 03:06, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
