A hall of anal devastation is a collection of screenshots documenting the reactions of shippers whose ship has just been sunk. They are usually collected in imgur albums and tend to target particularly wanky fandoms. Originating from 4chan, the albums typically collect reactions from different forums, Tumblr, Twitter and 4chan. The first hall of anal devastation was published on November 6, 2014, documenting the reactions of the people unhappy with Naruto's endgame ships. The second one was released on August 31, 2016, regarding the endgame ships of Bleach, and the third one on October 2, 2016, as a response to the resolved love triangle in Magi.
