Hades II is a roguelike dungeon crawler action game created by indie developer Supergiant Games with a large narrative component. It is based on and features characters from Greek Mythology, and is the sequel game to Hades.
Canon
The game centres on Princess of the Underworld Melinoë, daughter of the titular Hades and sister of Zagreus, as she battles her way through the Underworld "using dark sorcery to take on the sinister Titan of Time."[1] Along the way, various Olympic gods offer her boons and abilities to help her on her journey, with new additions not seen in the first game. Particularly important is Hekate, who gets a deeper focus as she mentors the young protagonist in magick. She is so important in fact, that the developers "felt [they] needed a whole new game to try and do her justice."[1]

The Hades 2 Artstyle
The distinctive and attractive Hades 2 art style has lead to fanart pastiches using the style of the game to draw characters from other games. While these are often gods from other games, many characters have been used. In particular, there are several Hatsune Miku renditions[2][3][4] .
