Excerpts

When and why did you start writing x-files fan fic?

Spring, about April. I saw everyone else doing it on atxc, and I decided to join in the insanity :)

What are your inspiration in writing these stories?

Whatever comes to mind; I'm a bit like what is often said about the show: disparate ideas, news articles, etc. get banged together and maybe I get fusion.

How would you define Mulder and Scully's relationship?

Sexual Tension, but no "Unresolved." They're very close work partners, but I think they have too much respect for each other to go too much further.

Have you written any other type of stories besides x-files fan fic?

Star Trek-ish fanfic, and several Star Wars fanfics.

Do you try to keep Mulder and Scully's charachter as close to the show, o do you prefer to add bits of your own?

I prefer to keep them close to the show, since I know that best and I don't want to invent too much of a fictional life for them, since the show reveals new bits of their lives all the time. Some little pieces of me get added to them, too :)

You've done a Starwar crossover. Why did you pick that particular cross over?

I did the Star Wars crossover because I know Star Wars better than I know virtually anything else. It was also a story meant to fill in the void left when the Star Wars crossover I was *trying* to write came to a grinding halt. So I polished off a quick story that didn't really attempt much....

The hardest part about writing that was trying to determine how much impact I wanted it to have on my other stories; as it turned out, not very much, since I didn't want it to be my "official" shot at writing a crossover. After that I just punched out the story.
