-Shipping Name Origin

"GalarShipping" was coined very early on for a SWSH ship, sometime before 17 April 2019[Notes 1]. GloryWinnerShipping, a somewhat common alternative, came later, coined on 18 November 2019 by poisonrozen on Tumblr.[1] GalarShipping later became its "official" name on the Neverending Romance ship name list on 06 December.[2]

Another name in the running during this time was KingdomShipping, though this fell out of usage by 2020.
