Geoff Tilley (nickname Geoffro) is fan who was active in the Australian science fiction media fandom community for many years.

Geoffro was a well known fan personality from mainstream Australian science fiction fandom who was active from the late 1980s to early 2000s. Aside from his huge range of accomplishments within fandom organisational circles, Geoffro was always respected for his enormous, highly acclaimed, sci-fi/media collection of reference books, videos/DVDs and toys. Within Australian media fandom itself, Geoffro was invaluable in promoting goodwill and friendship throughout the various circles of the community for well over a decade. Furthemore, Geoffro was regarded as being "the guy to talk to, when you just want someone to talk to" because Geoffro was never short in making new friends and sci-fi contacts.

Tilley reports that after ongoing participation within numerous events, he eventually decided to retire from active fandom, and he turned his attention to the online community, becoming involved with Sci-Fi Zone.[1] This activity included working with Darren Maxwell on a livestream podcast called Talk Nerdy to Me which premiered during the COVID-19 crisis in April 2020 and ran for 31 episodes.[2] Maxwell reports that he and Tilley also co-created the Nerdy Things From Another World Podcast.[3]

Some Accomplishments

He was also acknowledged with thanks as a contributor to The Gerry Anderson Memorabilia Guide (compiled by Dennis Nicholson) in 1994.
