Fantasy High is an actual-play podcast by Dimension 20 featuring the Intrepid Heroes with Brennan Lee Mulligan acting as DM. It takes place in a world that's described as "John Hughes meets D&D"[1] and follows a group of six students at Aguefort Adventuring Academy through their freshman and sophomore years. The show is by far the most popular Dimension 20 campaign at 8/10 of the most popular pairings on AO3 and 9/10 of the most popular characters.[2]
The show was so popular that it spawned a second season and two spin-off campaigns, one about a group of pirates and another about the seven girls involved in Prompocalypse.
Canon
The two seasons of Fantasy High follow the main characters, known as The Bad Kids, through their freshman and sophomore years at Aguefort Adventuring Academy. It can primarily be described as a coming of age story with some mystery elements, as the disappearance of several girls is a key point in the first season and the party is looking into the matter along with several other smaller mysteries such as the identity of Fig Faeth and [Gorgug Thistlespring]]'s respective fathers.
The series is notable for having several canon queer femslash pairings as well as a prominent asexual (and heavily implied to be aromantic) character in Riz Gukgak.
