Sinyhale (Cath) was interviewed for the Eternal zine in 2013. The zine describes Sinyhale as "Multiartist of the month" and is one of two interviews in the zine, the other is with Tumblr user Qhuinn.

When did you start shipping Sterek?Why? I started shipping Sterek after the fourth episode of season one (“Magic Bullet”), but it was only after episode nine (“Wolf’s Bane”) with the way Derek looked at Stiles inside the jeep, that I started shipping them hard.
Those reasons only increased with time. Their chemistry is undeniable - Jeff’s words, not mine. And it’s true. You look at the screen and you see a team; you see two individual and imperfect characters together, who suddenly become a perfect combination. There’s also the unspoken trust that makes me squeal. It’s not just Derek who has trust issues, Stiles has them too. Also, [I enjoy] how both of their walls seem to fall with each other. They both give in to the banter, but also to how much they care. I saw Hoechlin saying “they would take a bullet for each other” and I thought “damn, that’s so true”.
Derek...forces himself to show how strong he is. His vulnerability comes to the surface when he’s near Stiles. If we didn’t know about Derek’s past, we could say it’s because through Derek’s eyes Stiles is human, fragile and weak, but that’s not true. Humans destroyed Derek’s life. He fears them just as he fears a competitive werewolf. Meanwhile, we have Stiles, who is very protective and stubborn. Just as he’s saying “I don’t like Derek,” he’s also giving his everything to save him. Stiles doesn’t have claws to back him up, but he risks his life constantly for those that are inside of his very protective and small circle. I believe Stiles never wanted Derek to be part of it, but somehow that’s what happened. It’s like when you’re too tired and you’re fighting sleep...eventually [you] end up falling asleep. And once you do, you can’t help yourself, you just give in.
What is your favorite thing to write, when it comes to Sterek?If I’m writing a fic, the slow build is my favorite part. I love to write them together, talking or simply thinking about each other. It’s amazing to dive in into their minds and figure out how could they start developing feelings for each other or how would they cope with that desire of being together. I also have a lot of fun by including the rest of the characters and how they react with Stiles and Derek. But I love to write meta about Sterek too! To be honest, anything that makes me squeal just by thinking about these two oblivious boys.
