Elwing Alcyone, now also known as Secret Staircase, is a fanfiction and meta writer.
She was active in Harry Potter fandom in the early and mid 2000s, where she is best known for her 2003 Remus/Sirius essay, "The Case for R/S".
In 2011, she gave blanket permission to podfic the stories on her Dreamwidth fic masterlist.[1]
Harry Potter Fandom
Elwing Alcyone was writing Harry Potter fanfiction and posting to FanFiction.Net from 2001 until at least 2004.[2] By 2003, she was active on LiveJournal and FictionAlley Park, where her posts included ship meta and defences of Remus/Sirius and Harry/Ginny.
She deleted her LiveJournal sometime in or after 2015.[3]
