Dott Week was a fanweek held in the Total Drama fandom from January 19th to the 25th in 2013, 2014 and 2015. It celebrated Dawn/Scott with fanworks of all kinds, though mostly with fanart and fic. The event was held on primarily on Tumblr and included in Chefhatchet's Appreciation Calendar.
Submission Rules (Written in 2014)
Hello everyone! We hope you're as excited as we are about Dott Week!--but before we kick off tomorrow we'd like to explain exactly how this is going to work!
Submitting:
There are two ways to submit to Dott Week:
Submit to us: You can head over to our Submissions Page and select Text, Photo or Video as to what you'll be submitting. After you upload your submission there, you need to select the tags appropriate for your piece:
- Dott, Dott Week and Week2014 should be selected for all submission types.
- Fanfic14 is for fanfiction
- Fanart14 is for fanart
- Graphic14 is for photo edits/manipulations, gifsets, etc.
- Vid14 is for AMVs or fan videos
- NSFW is for any media posts that are deemed 'Not Safe For Work', aka 18+, mature content, etc.
Linking: If you'd rather post to your own blog, we'll gladly reblog your submission from you! Again, head to the Submissions Page, but instead of uploading your submission, simply select Text (it should be the default anyway) and paste the link to your piece. Instead of publishing the link, we'll follow it to your blog and reblog it from you directly.
