Dee Laundry began writing for the House, M.D. fandom in the summer of 2006 and has continued ever since. Most of her fics focus on House/Wilson slash and House-Wilson friendship, but some are gen or feature other pairings.
She was also one of the founding members of House's House of Whining in 2007, after being banned from TWOP, and continues to participate there.
A flirtation with Stargate: Atlantis in mid-2007 led Dee to establish the Gate House LiveJournal community, for the enjoyment of both SGA and House. Posting frequency rises and falls, but the community does maintain the Web's most comprehensive list of House/SGA crossover fics.
Dee is also known as a member of the Black Cigarette collective, along with Nightdog_Barks, Blackmare_9, and Perspi. Their collaboratively written novel-length Housefic Aftershocks was posted to LJ during the second half of 2007.
In 2008 Dee slacked off, apparently, but managed to (a) finish her agony-inducing House Big Bang Challenge fic; (b) help raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by over-committing to write custom fics (still not completed as of 12/4/08); (c) run a speculation sweepstakes for the last episode of Season Four of House; and (d) freak out about writing House recs for Crack Van.
