Damnation is a gen Dark Shadows novel by Dale Clark. It's the sixth in a series of seven books.
Summary
From the publisher: "With the return to Collinwood of Adam, Julia Hoffman and Quentin Collins are given new hope that Barnabas Collins may not be lost to them forever. For it appears that Barnabas' mind is alive in Adam and it is up to Julia to find a way to return it to its rightful body. And as Julia struggles with these problems, Carolyn begins to discover her own psychic abilities, a talent which warns her of an unexpected danger -- Victoria Winters! This intuition, coupled with the explanation of Victoria's heritage by the mysterious Simon may all come too late. For the dark time descends as Victoria Winters succumbs to the evil influence of the Mask of Baal and her own heritage and embraces her role as the harbinger of a new era -- a time when Hell is literally brought to Earth and demons rule the world."

Reactions and Reviews
This was head and shoulders above DISASTER. After reading this a few times, I think what I liked best of all is mat the narrative flowed much better. The stories didn't jump all over the place. I really like die scenes between Adam and Carolyn and Barnabas and Adam. I hope you do something widi Willie; he is one of my favorite characters from Ihe show I also like what you're doing with Carolyn and she will obviously play a ceniral role in all this and all dial is to come. One thing I would really like to see is to have Julia finally come to grips with all the evil she has done over the years. She has always put the blame on someone else. liven now -- she didn't tell Barnabas about her dream of Angelique. [1]
You did a great job with your latest novel, though DAMNATlON has shattered the image of sweet, innocent Vicki; can't wait to see what's in store for her demonic replacement, not to mention other cliffhangers. I hope that somewhere down the road Chris Jennings will return. ! never did like the way the series, left his character in limbo, maybe you'll make up for that? [2]
