Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game by CD Projekt Red that was initially released in 2020. It is a story driven game with many memorable characters to fans. It has a moderate following in terms of fanac as of 2024, including fanart, fanfiction and virtual photography using screenshots from the game.
One of the major characters, Johnny Silverhand, is portrayed by Keanu Reeves. Johnny Silverhand/V, which pairs him with the player character, (either Valerie or Vincent), is one of the most popular pairings in the fandom. Others are Judy Alvarez/V, Kerry Eurodyne/V and Goro Takemura/V.
In 2022, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a prequel anime OVA by Studio Trigger, was released. It has its own characters and fandom, linked but not limited to the larger Cyberpunk 2077 fandom.
