Reactions and Reviews: Issue 1
The entire zine is just too cool for words. The fiction is fantastic, the artwork is - mostly - great. Nice sense of layout. Perfect-bound (and the binding hasn't cracked yet!). I lake this zine down from the bookshelf once a year and read it cover to cover. [1]
From my all-time favorite zine, Crossed Swords #1, I'd have to say Susan Sizemore and Marguerite Krause came out with some incredibly well-written stories. I'm not a romance fan (hate the stuff - ick, ick!), but these stories are so well-plotted and well-drawn that I could stand being led down the primrose path at times. And I bloody well didn't know where the thing was leading! [2]
Issue 2
Crossed Swords 2 was published 1987.
