Summary
The Agreste boys and their plus one, Nathalie, have decided to spend the week in a cabin by the coast. While Gabriel tries to mend his fractured relationship with Adrien, Nathalie is more or less there to keep the peace, but she soon finds herself out of her depth. With emotions shifting as frequently as the tide can the trio band together and take strides towards the future, or will they be swept out to sea and left hanging?

I left kudos after reading the first chapter and tried to do so again after finishing the second. This is very good so far! I'm enjoying the point of view you've chosen and I really adore this look into their lives post-magic. It's fascinating. Nathalie constantly feeling like she has to take care of them is so in character and well-represented here, and Gabriel's thoughts on the gifts they buy her are very endearing. I loved everything about this fic! Your take on the characters was so realistic (I especially adored the part where Gabriel was thinking about Nathalie’s "questionable" taste) and the exploration of the relationship between them was the best kind of bittersweet. To make this family trip the beginning of the healing and not the solution was a beautiful decision.
Second-person perspective is a very interesting choice here. It works very well for this intimate atmosphere you created here.A lot of small details in this fic. I especially enjoyed Nathalie's interactions with Adrien, it all felt very wholesome. And I kinda love that Nathalie has a taste for tacky mugs.
