Category talk:Stranger Things Fanworks

This category has not been used, and we don't create categories in the pattern Fandom Fanworks. See Category talk:IT Fanworks. Apart from the lack of precedent, I think general "Fanwork" subcategories are unhelpful because fans may disagree on what counts as a "fanwork": fansites, zines, meta, cosplay, and vids are all fanworks, but I've seen people on Fanlore and elsewhere use the word "fanwork" when they meant fanfiction only.--aethel (talk) 15:26, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

i made this category after I found it either on the most linked-to pages or wish list page. it seems the links have been removed by now and the editor who created them appears to have left fanlore.

if you feel the category should be deleted, i'd agree. also, according to help:categories, there need to be at least five existing fanlore pages that can be added to that category when it is created (see: How to Create a New Category). SecurityBreach (talk) 16:01, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
