Category talk:Stargate SG-1 Gen and Het Zines
The List of Stargate SG-1 Fanzines lists more than 50 gen zines and 2 het zines. In this fandom there is no reason why gen and het should be in the same category. I suggest moving the gen zines to a Stargate SG-1 Gen Zines category and moving the het zines to the main Stargate SG-1 Zines category. --Doro 18:54, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Question: I made a separate category for Het zines since their number is over 10 by now (11, to be exact) and everything else left in Category:Stargate SG-1 Gen and Het Zines category is gen zines. Can the category be safely renamed to Category:Stargate SG-1 Gen Zines? I seem to remember there might be complications if we rename a category. -- Baycitybomber (talk) 12:26, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- You have to edit each page to update the category after you rename the category page; otherwise, it's fine. (I think the "Gen and Het" type categories were for oldschool fandoms where het zines were labeled as gen; I have no idea if that happened in SG1 fandom.)--aethel (talk) 22:41, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
