Reactions and Reviews

What we have here is a combination of something I normally do not care for and something that inspires me to the point of chills. First of all, I love the title. It speaks to me of the vulnerability of the two beings that I have chosen to place in the category of legends: Kirk and Spock.

Taking leave on Vulcan during the Season of T'Kuht is reason enough for suspense. The visual setting is eerie, alien and unknown. It feels threatening, whispers of the supernatural and the spiritual. What occurs then, should be no surprise. Kirk and Spock find themselves linked through time to Sajii and Zhaim, star-crossed bondmates from the time of Surak, warriors who have lain down their lives for their beliefs and each other.

Across the sands of time, the fallen warriors infinite communion with each other and the promise of an ancient Goddess have combined to rekindle the flames of love that sputtered to extinction on the winds of the ancient Vulcan Forge. Truly the words of Legend. [1]
