Relationships

In early Total Drama: Island (2023) fandom, he was most shipped with Raj by fans. This isn't too surprising since their pairing, Bowie/Raj, was the first canonical same-gender relationship in the entire series. Many TD fans had eagerly awaited such a thing happening for years, elaborated more on Noah and Owen's articles. Because of this, shipping Bowie with other Male contestants is frowned upon; shipping him with Female contestants especially so, even in transformative fandom settings such as Archive of Our Own and similar platforms. Bowie/Raj is the juggernaut ship of Island (2023)'s fandom.

Aside from his relationship with Raj, Bowie & Emma's relationship is also often explored in fanworks.

Julia Bowie/Julia Het Bowlia Because Bowie is canonically gay, this ship is disliked by most fans. Shipping it is seen as bait and in bad taste. If shipped earnestly, it may be considered to be enemies to lovers.
