Barb Greenwood is a Star Trek and Starsky & Hutch fan writer and fanzine publisher. In 1982, she was nominated for a FanQ award and submitted the following bio to The Annual Fan Q Awards Nominations Booklet:

Who knows what occurred between 1968 and 1976, years marking the beginning and the beginning of my devotion to Star Trek. Eight years there--from TV to fanzine--filled, no doubt, with talk of astronauts in place of deities, and mission in place of faith . It was a relief, in '76, to discover that I could write this stuff, others would print it, and still more would read and react to it . Finally! From ...Trek to Starsky and Hutch, I have moved through the years as an observer --observing first the shows, then the literature, and finally the fans. Running the Little Zine Warehouse (a mail order second-hand shop), writing to a small group of involved fans (they tell me of the cons I miss), turning 30 this year, and sharing my baby daughter through the mail and the thrust of my stories has led me to conclude that the true frontier is fandom itself: explored in "FIAWOL" and pondered in every fannish moment of my day. Credits include "Safe" and "An Opportunity" in SAHSHEER, "The Compromise" in WARPED SPACE 44, "Sweet Afterthought", "Mother's Son" and "A Break In the Action" in ZEBRA THREE, VOL. 5, "FIAWOL" in MENAGERIE 17, and my best stuff still in desk drawers.
