Black Sheep Squadron was a WWII TV series on NBC from 1976 to 1978, based upon the real life career and exploits of Gregory "Pappy" Boyington and the U.S. Marine Corps squadron, VMF-214.[1] It was first titled Baa Baa Black Sheep but then renamed.
