Award-ceremony fic is a type of metafic in which the fandom's characters appears in the story, often with tuckerized authors and self-inserts to present awards in a specific fandom or contest. They often feature characters bickering over their portrayal in said fics, and may include sub-plots of other characters or authors attempting to gain access to or take over the ceremony.

- The Kim Possible Fannie Awards, which have run annually since 2006
- The 2015 RugratsAll Grown Up! Fanfiction Awards! and its incomplete follow-up, the 2016 Awards
- The CBFFAs which held an awards ceremony in the Subreality Cafe from 1998-2003.
