Angels Would Fall is a Hanson fanfic written by Morgan.
The story is written from the point of view of an OFC, Michelle, who is a friend of the family, but secretly sleeping with Taylor. Over the course of the story its two sequels More Than Anything and Crash Into Me, she also becomes involved with Zac, and finds herself torn between the two brothers, unsure which she wants the most. Both relationships feature an age gap—four and six years, respectively.
Reactions and Reviews
The love triangle is a common plot in hanfics; I’ve read several that involve a girl cheating on Taylor with Zac, which is what I expect to happen in Angels Would Fall. It isn’t, though—not exactly. While I’m not sure what to make of the huge age difference between Zac and Michele—six years—I can see the connection they have. I wish Morgan had made a little more of that age difference, though.[1]
Like it’s predecessor, More Than A Feeling is fairly short and written in “phases” rather than chapters. It’s a distinction without a difference, but whatever you call them, Morgan packs a lot of action and emotion into them.[2]
Although these five chapters are long, the story isn’t finished and it ends at a very awkward spot. I have all sorts of thoughts about what Morgan might have been planning, based on the hints I think I see planted throughout. But ultimately, since Crashing Into Me is unfinished, I think I would have rather stopped with More Than A Feeling and just ignored the unresolved and rehashed drama here.[3]
Angels is quite addicting. I finished it in one sitting. I do not reccomend this story at all, if you aren't into the sex sceeenes, because they make up about 60% of the story. Plus, they use the "eff word" (heh) here an there, so if vulgarity isn't your style, steer clear of this one. But, thing is, it kinda keeps you hooked. And, right now, the author has yet to update and I can't wait to see what will become of Michelle and Zac, hehe. So, I really like her addictability-ness. I also like her "dive-right-in" style. We didn't have to sit through how her and the Hansons met, or listen to background information about the band we already knew. I kinda like that in a story.[4]
incredibly well-written adult hanfic - my inspiration[5]
