Andre the Giant (1946-1993) was a French professional wrestler and actor who was a major box office draw around the world during the 1970s and 1980s. He achieved his greatest fame in the World Wrestling Federation. He also played "Fezzik" in The Princess Bride, "Bigfoot" on the two-part The Six Million Dollar Man episode "The Secrets of Bigfoot" and "The Monster" on the The Greatest American Hero episode "Heaven is in Your Genes."
