Zac/Kate is the RPF pairing of Zac Hanson and his wife Kathryn Tucker Hanson. It is most often referred to as ZK, although some use the portmanteau Zate.
The two began dating in 2000 or 2001 after meeting at either a concert or mall fashion show (stories vary),[1] and got married on June 3, 2006. They have five children—John Ira Shepherd (2008), Junia Rosa Ruth (2010), George Abraham Walker (2013) Mary Lucille Diana (2016), and Quincy Joseph Thoreau (2021).
Because Kate was rumored to have dated Isaac first and Zac was dating Marion Raven when they first met, their relationship has never been popular in the fandom. Although they have become more public about their relationship, it is only slowly gaining popularity and was dogged with some rather nasty rumors prior to their marriage.[2][3][4][5]
