Genshin Impact, known in mainland China as Yuanshen (原神), is an action role-playing gacha game developed and published by Hoyoverse.

In Chinese-Speaking Fandom, Genshin Impact and its fandom have become controversial for allegedly toxicity, and some people starts to adopt the term Yuanshen to refer to things other than Genshin Impact. People using the term Yuanshen to refer to other fandom sometimes suggest that the fandom is "as toxic as Genshin Impact fandom", and the term sometimes is used simply for humorous purpose.
